Curious if there are any musicians in Seoul, from the board, that get together, or if you know of people that regularly do? Im considering bringing one of my acoustic or electric guitars, or my bass. I wanted to find out what the music situation was out there. Thanks for the info. |

There is a fair bit of music going on in the Haebongchon area, which is a hill near Noksapyeoung station, which is beside Itaewon. It sort of revolves around The Orange Tree, which is a bar in Haebongchon. They have an open mic on Wednesdays that can be pretty good! Also they have live music many nights of the week. Bring your gear, lets rock out! |

I had a studio in Mokdong. Perhaps I'll get it back when I return to Seoul.
Do you know the Korean band Mogi?
They are also in the studio and like to jam. It was lotsa fun.
I'll post here if I get back and get the studio again.
There is also an open mic every third and first sunday at a place in Itaewon called Timeout. Good place to jam and find others who want to do the same. |
