i know there are at least two, but i dont know their policies...
what's the chance they'll actually buy the stuff i bring in?
do they mind marks? (if a book mentions another book that sounds interesting, i sometimes write it in the front or back flap...yes i know there are bibliographies, but they have all the dull ones as well)
what are the ususal buy back prices?
mucho gracias to anyone who can help |

Do you have a lot of books...I mean a huge amount of books? Otherwise I have to ask, "Why bother?". You can drag them down to the bookstore and get a couple of dollars, but why do it? I would call them at the bookstore and ask, or wait a little while and they will respond to you in this thread. |

pocket paperbacks usually get 1,000 to 2,000, if they are popular, in-demand books.
The larger, newer novels might go for a bit more: 2-3,000. I had a bunch of these and Chiaa offered me 2,500 each. I sold them here on Dave's for 5,000 each (paid over 12,000 each at Kyobo, etc).
Good luck! |

geeze. my big question when moving to korea was: i wonder if the school will give me an advance on my first paycheck? or, will the menus be in english? you're wondering how to make $10 extra dollars on a few books. times have changed ... |

um wow...i was just curious
i have some books that'd be easier to get rid of than to lug around to a new apartment...
and i'd be more worried about that person who posted about a slug... |
