My mother was born in Seoul, and became a US citizen in 1967. I was born in the US in 1981. (My father is not, and never was, Korean.) Am I eligible for the F-4? (The consulate in DC has told me yes, the one in New York has told me no. . .)

| As far as I know, yes, you are. As far as the consulates giving you totally different information, that is par for the course. |
