Hi Everyone:
Does anyone know if dojos are open during morning hours/noon hour in Seoul? Is it hard to find a good martial arts place in Seoul? |

Its very easy to find martial arts places in Seoul. Taekwondo dojangs- there are about 2-3 in every neighborhood. Hapkido, a little less. Kickboxing/boxing- you may have to go across town to find a good one you like.
As for times, Taekwondo is run as a childrens' cash cow, so times are 4-8pm or so for after-school classes. Morning hours would be better-as in finding university boys to train with beofre they go to school.
So, to answer your question. Mornings yes- lunch, typically not. |

Some places will give you a private lesson everyday for an hour for 200,000 won a month or whatever amount you negotiate.
Better yet, if you can form a class by bringing students, I'm sure a studio can add one. |

A number of Gumdo/Kumdo gyms seem to hold early morning classes. But these are at 6 or 7 o'clock.
Tell us where you live and what type of style/training you are looking for. |
