That's what makes it such a great game for so many years now.

Luck, savvy in deals, and ruthlessness. Reminds me of working in hagwons. Be kind and watch it backfire when it comes to winning, killing everybody else, getting all the cash.

Can the ruthless businessperson be a kind person? Can one turn it on and off? Succeed at work and show compassion otherwise? I doubt it. That's why lawyers are evil. Donald Trump cannot be a nice man. No one who makes a fortune can be a truly compassionate person, though they may be nice enough after making millions to help others. Money is evil.

Or, perhaps it's easy to be nice when one has so much?

I don't know. I'm drunk dammit. Gimme a break... Wink

My last boss in the states was a complete jerk while working (in the trading pits), but one of the nicest guys in the world outside of the pits.

No, a poor jerk will just turn into a rich jerk. A poor nice guy wil turn into a rich nice guy. At least in my experience (and I have worked with a lot of rich guys, guys trying to get rich, and not so rich guys).
