Hi All

Newbie here reading over what seems to be a good contract, based on reading through Dave's. Some questions:

Does 7.5% total deductions per paycheck sound about standard?

I'm from New England so I'm going to wilt a bit in the summer (which is when I would come over with this contract) and the housing may not come with A/C. Is A/C really expensive to buy and install, like some other things? I don't expect to have a enough spending money to buy big ticket items before a paycheck or two. I know this is not a lot of info, but, out of respect, I have my reasons for it.

Thanks.

Deductions
Tax: per the NTS Website, (about 2.2% including the Resident Tax)
Ins: 2.24%
Pension: 4.5%

TOTAL: about 9% for all of these.

Your utilities will depend on your use and your housing type. Officetels will have slightly higher amounts (from my experience). As for A/C...You can get a fan if you need one. I don't know about installing one, but it looks complicated for one of the small wall-mounts (have to drill a hole in your outside wall). You can also get a "refrigerator" style one that sits in the corner of your apartment, but I'm not sure about them. I also don't know about prices, sorry.
