A friend was telling me her school was looking for a teacher:

- 2 million won or more with experience
- 9:30 - 7:30 with a 2 hour break around lunch
- Monday - Thursday teaching
- Friday no teaching, field trip day (every friday you take the little kids to parks and museums)
- Your own studio apartment
- Not in Seoul proper, though it's on line 4, down south.

The hours are a tiny bit long but great for a morning person. The hours are moderated by the long lunch break and the fact you only spend four days a week in class. I kind of liked the idea of a weekly field trip. Although sometimes when I've taken my students out, even in small numbers, they turn into total savages when unleashed. I told my friend if they're looking for a foreigner who can conduct field trips, they're going to need to get someone with experience. I'd hate to see some greenhorn with 12 9 year olds loose on a subway trying to figure out how to keep them all quiet, in their seats...

That's shit! You may not be in a classroom but you are still with a group of children that you are responsible for all day Friday.

If it sounds good to you, go for it! But I think the field trip would get really old after like the 3rd week. Every week, a field trip?! If you'd like that kind of thing, I think you're the person for the job.
