Do you want to be in a professional Hollywood movie?!!! Well...we cannot help you. What we can promise you is a good time making an amateur movie.

We are hoping to gather a few people who are interested in helping make some movies. We have a camera, we have the passion, and most important...we have the desire for fun.

Everyone is welcome. If you have a skill, a talentor just want to have a good time, please come out!

Our next meeting is this Sunday, February 26th at 12:00 Noon at the Burger King in Itaewon. It is a central location everyone should be able to find easily.

We do have an idea for our first project, but please bring your ideas, too!

If you are interested, please PM me or Demonicat and let us know you plan to come out.

Hey,

I was a camera operator back home (Los Angeles) before taking this little sidetrip we call Korea.

I brought my DVX100B with me, as well as a 503 Bogen head and some decent Manfrotto sticks. I also brought a standard Tiffen UV Filter, and a cheapy Mattebox.

What I didn't bring is a decent shotgun mike and any kind of stabilizer system.

Anyway, I'm interested so long as there is an appropriate level of dedication (I don't want to ride all the way to Seoul just to do nothing, I can do that here already).

Send me a private message or somethin'.

We are hoping to create a bigger dedicated bunch. I know there are already a few of us that are determined to finish something.

Ok, here's a sample script that can be turned into an instant cult classic. I'll tentatively pen myself in as the star, and even "beaver" can have a supporting - or even a co-starring role.

...An internet forum feud boils over, and "Rteacher" and "beaver" (or "Dan the Chainsawman" if "beaver" isn't suitably big enough for the semi-tough guy role...) agree to settle their differences with a "loser leave Korea" arm-wrestling match...

Unsuspecting "beaver" and horrified on-lookers are shocked when "Rteacher" manifests such tremendous rage and otherwordly power that he literally rips "beaver's" arm out of it's socket, and blood spurts out like water gushing from a fire hydrant...

Completely crazed and possessed, "Rteacher" starts swinging the detached arm in wide circles over his head and viciously clears a bloody path to the door of the seedy Korean bar then stuffs the arm in his "Welcome to Korea" shopping bag while walking steadily down Itaewon's (or Hongdae or wherever...) main street.

Three days later finds "Rteacher" still walking around Seoul with "beaver's" arm in his bag... "Beaver" gets released from the hospital and, having heard that "Rteacher" is somehow still loose, rounds up a posse of six rowdy friends and sets out to find - and possibly kill "Rteacher"...

"Beaver" and company spot him again in Itaewon heading up "Hooker Hill" (on his way to the Foreigner Food Market, of course...) and they gang up on him. "Beaver" exclaims "Payback is a bitch, ain't it! as he takes out a giant machete, swings it with all his might and strikes "Rteacher" squarely on the neck, while one of his friends targets his shoulder with a large axe...

Although there's some trickles of blood, "Rteacher" sharply recoils in a seething rage and growls "You really think you can hurt steel ?...Ha! I'm Rasputin reincarnate!" Then he pulls out "beaver's" severed arm - now wrapped in barbed-wire - and waves it menacingly towards the gang (who become frozen with fear and awe...) and fearlessy walks away, disappearing into a cloud of yellow dust in the horizon [as the camera shot fades ... ]

Having just watched "Within the Woods", I'd have to say that your idea has at least that much potential.

Although, I really was just wondering how the film was going.

I've no idea (...I haven't been to a Burger King meeting in ages...) I guess I'm not that committed yet (since I'm not wearing a straight-jacket...)
