|
|
Hi, I've done a bit of research and the consensus seems to be that there really isn't much to do in Yongin. I also know it is very spread out and there are many schools and hagwons. I actually live in Yongin Si, but am about 30 minutes away from the centre of anything. I've tried to explore Yongin by myself but have been unsuccessful in finding any place frequented by foreigners. I'm keen to go to Suwon, too, if anyone from there knows some OK spots.
In Yongin I saw Myeongi and Yongin Universities. Does anything happen around here? Or maybe some other location....?
I love my job but, as someone in another thread mentioned, the subway ride (and in my case a gruelleing bus trip too) at 6AM is getting to me. The bus to my little town stops running at 8PM, too.
I would love to meet up with some westerners who live and or work in the Yongin area. I have met a lot of people from the Phillipines, Myanmar, Sri Lanka etc.
Anyone have any ideas?
Regards, |

Wa Bar just closed!
I have no idea where all the foreigners in Suji are going these days, but the ones I know (who are still there) are very iffy characters and I don't recommend that clique.
I live near Yongin Terminal, and I'd be happy to introduce you to a pile of people. PM me if you're interested. |

I live in the outskirts of Yongin. There are many snakes in the trees but not much else. |

That's the trouble with Yognin. It's pretty spread out for such a small city. I have no idea where the Yongin Terminal is. I live near the Royal Sports Center, by the Pizza Hut and McDonalds. |
