Out of curiosity has anyone paid for an annual membership at onestopenglish.com?
I realise it allows for some access to free materials and information as a registered user; however, I was wondering about the scope and quality of "an expanded range of content in key teaching areas and much more" that would come with the paid membership. Such perks, according to the website, include:
1. Thousands of downloadable worksheets
2. New worksheet search facility
3. Weekly news lessons published in conjunction with the Guardian Weekly
4. Bank of downloadable flash cards and games
5. Special offers only available for Staff Room members - including discounts on books and subscriptions.
To put it more succinctly is it worth the 45,000 won or so per year to join as a Staff Room member? |

Nothing is worth 45,000 . Everything regarding language is free.....
Also as regards your byline....I would retort.
"he who knows the buddha, does not know the buddha."
or
"he who HAS a signature, has not signature"....meaning absence and thus the pressure from whence change occurs, rules all....we know nothing of it but a mistaken glimpse here or there....
Still, the only thing you can buy in regards to language materials, is time.....which has nothing to do with knowing....
Cheers,

I'd be interested to know if it's worth the money too.
Mainly I'm interested in the speaking practice activities. Does anyone know if you get more if you pay? |
