				Hello,

I've heard that there are some Korean websites that allow you to download movies for free (NOT Kwanzaa or any other peer-to-peer network). Does anybody know of any?

Thanks. |

Kwanzaa, classic.

The best way these days is to get a Bit Torrent program.

I get just about everything from http://www.mininova.org |

visit http://www.findclubbox.com to search where you can download the movies that you like...

you need to be able to read korean to use clubbox since you'll need to install a small program for you to be able to download... it's for free but if you have OK Cashbag, you can exchange it for points and download up to 1MB/sec... ordinary download speed is up to 55 KB/sec... |

				| How long does it take to download an average movie via that site? I've tried using the bit torrent program but it took too long -- about the same amount of time as a p2p. Am I doing something wrong? I have high-speed internet access. |

				| I downloaded Harry Potter at 700mb in around two hours the other day using Bitlord. It really depends on the popularity of the file. |

Just go there and run the search yourself. If you are looking for something hard to find, http://www.isohunt.com works best. |

				I'd suggest you go newsgroups.

I generally get 2MB/s from USA servers.

You have to pay for the good servers though, but it's definately worth it.

If you don't know much about computers, or never heard of newsgroups...it might not be for you...as there are a few things you got to do to get setup for it. |

Anyone know how to sign up for Clubbox? The site doesn't accept my foreigner's ARC number and the link for those without numbers doesn't seem to be working. Thanks. |

Why don't you guys just visit Galbijim forums?

http://forums.galbijim.com

If that doesn't work at the moment, try this address... (it means there's a server transfer going on.)

http://forums.galbijim.wikidev.net

Go to "Korea Central" forum.

Click on "A whole new world: Afreeca" Thread.

Currently, the following link works for the thread.

http://forums.galbijim.wikidev.net/index.php?showtopic=1349

There you go. I will update the info about search tips and stuff with more pictures once the server transfer's done.

Ask questions on that thread if you got any.

The registration for Galbijim is dead simple.

BTW, where can you find English subtitles for Korean movies?

Any great sites? |
