Im not a card-carrying member of the grammar police or anything, but you would think by this sites shear nature that it would be grammatically correct; but yet there are numerous blatant misuses of the English language throughout.
The ones that keep staring me down are Korean Jobs and Korean Job Discussions. Jobs and job discussions arent members of a nationality. They should be termed Jobs in Korea and Discussions about Jobs in Korea.
This post was a pathetic use of my time that exemplifies how boring a small town in Korea can be on a Sunday afternoon.
Im going to the liquor store. |

Come on, admit it, you did the same thing back when you were bored with your Canadian job. |

Never been to Canada, and Sunday afternoons in Florida the waterfront reggae bars werent particularly boring. Ah yes, rumIm out the door. |

1. Adjectives are grouped into seven main categories, namely Opinion, Size, Age, Shape, Colour, Origin and Material.
e.g. nice (opinion) big (size) old (age) round (shape) yellow (colour) Malaysian (origin) wooden (material)
2. An origin adjective describes where something comes from. Examples:
French, lunar, American, eastern, Greek. |
I would say the site is more grammatically correct than politically correct, that's all. |

I had absolutely no doubt that someone would find something wrong with my grammar and prove that the wording on Dave's is acceptable. So, apparently, Im not the only bored one today. |

Nor any day, mate.
(Response time: 3 minutes...but I was out in the sun for two hours earlier. And I think I caught cancer of the soul.) |
