I bought one of the regular 220v to 110v converters for my friend, but I guess her laptop requires the 3 prong 110v outlet. Has anyone seen these available? Is it possible to use one of those plugs that just you just attach to the 3 prong outlet and use in the 2 prong?

Best of luck ...

PS - it's a laptop, multi-voltage, why not just cut the non-standard US plug off and use the standard one?

If it's a typical laptop, it can handle 220v. I think it would have to be pretty old you not be able to handle it. All you need is a 300 won plug convertor that you can buy in Yongsan. That's all I have been using for my laptop for 2 years.

Just take it in to an electrician-type guy and have him put on a 2 prong number.Colloquially known as a pigs nose.
