Lemonade, I can only symphasize. I hope your situation gets resolved soon! I would have gone mental last century.

In my old joint I used to have this ajuma downstairs blaring her telly at 7am every morning, and sometimes at 2am at night. So loud it was, it vibrated my floor. I'd bang, and bang on her door, and yell and yell, "Shut it" in Korean, but she played mind games. I'd tell the owner uptairs, and tell him again, and leave signs for her to shut it, but did she? No.

After two or three times of this nonsense, I blared my telly at 7am every morning, so the ajuma downstairs and the owner upstairs could have some empathy lessons, and I complained at work, since my employer owns the joint.

It worked. Laughing

In my new joint, which my college doesn't own, I hear the next door woman's whimpering during sex. The walls are so thin I hear the guzzling, the zebra hawing, the works. Mad Shocked I thought he was hurting her, but a friend explained it possibly was some sex game they played, the woman pretending she didn't want it, yada, yada, yada. I don't know, but I do know I don't wanna listen to that. It happens every night, about midnight, sometimes later, and it can be loud! It goes on for half an hour or more, every time. Rolling Eyes
Also they have their TV on too loud. So I turn on my music on, loud, right next to the wall! Last night they were quieter, but not quiet enough, but it's working. Smile

Empathy lessons do work, but it's too bad you can't teach all the hawkers and construction workers... Confused
