Aggressive, in-your-face, fire engine red Korean World Cup T-shirts! Buy yours now! Very Happy

I don't think so dude!

Why couldn't they have used something that actually looks nice? Those red shirts hurt my eyes and make them tired. I wonder how the players feel looking up into the stands and seeing the red shirts?

I liked the 'Be The Reds" t-shirts, but these new "Reds Go Together" t-shirts are ugly. If they wanted to make more money, they should have done "Be The Reds... Again"

1.) Whoever chooses the slogans needs to be shot
2.) Whoever decided that opera singing is a proper way to celebrate a goal on national television should be drawn and quartered

Koreans don't look so bad in those shirts. Red contrasts well with jet black hair. Europoids with pasty white skin should think twice, though.

I agree with you on that.
Still, the red shirts don't look good themselves.

I think they've got it all wrong. Koreans should be driving red cars and wearing white shirts - not the other way around.

Opera and football actually go pretty well together I think... It was during Italia '90 that 'Nessun Dorma' became the football theme, and the 3 Tenors concert that followed the night after the final was a roaring success. Some powerful baritone blasting over a slow-mo replay of an overhead/scissors kick looks pretty effective to me!

I bought the new Korean one that says:

우리는 대한민국 입니다!!

The clerk didn't even know what to do. You know that guppy face? It was hilarious. I simply cannot wait to wear it at City Hall during the matches.

I'm happy when I can find shirts without "Corea" on them.

When I see shirts with 'Corea' on them, I always ask the kids what 'Sorea' is.

It's fun to watch the kids morph into little crazed animals saying "Teachuh Nooooooooooooo.... Koooorea"

No, buddy. This thread is about the shirts. We'll do a thread on how much Dev sucks another time.

Really. I think they couldn't have chosen a worse color except for maybe fluorescent green or shocking pink. And probably yellow would be next.

Well, red does appear to be the national colour. It's only fitting the fans also wear red.

That 'Reds Go Together' is the hook from that 'We Are The Champions song they play again and again. Actually the Japanese also have their own version of that song that I hear when I watch the Giants play.

I think the problem isn't so much that opera and football don't go together or whatever.. the problem is that that soprano who sings the theme sings it with TOO MUCH, reads, over the top, vibrato, which makes it just totally gross..

Vibrato has its place and time and this aint one of them!!
