I've been offered a CONTRACT FOR TEACHERS TO GYEONGGI SCHOOLS.

It looks quite good and covers all the basics that were missing in the hagwon contract some of you kindly responded to. Don't know if I'll be able to get there by June 1 but I'm thinking of trying.

My question is: they don't pre-pay your ticket--is it possible to get them to budge on points like that or providing air conditioners etc.

Thanks

IF they want you badly enough they may pay for your ticket here....I havent heard of it happening but they do reimburse you within a couple of weeks so if you can scrape the cash together you should be okay.

As for air con....I know of several people in GEPIK who demanded air con and got it. Tell them that for health reasons you need air con for the summer and that without it you will be sick too often to be a good teacher. You will get it.
