Anyone know how much my wife could make in Korea? I'm asking this of individuals married to Korean women. My wife has a BA from a Korean University (not Korea University) and her English Conversation is near native. We have lived in the states for about two years now. Any chance of her making more than the customary 1,000,000 won a month for Korean women? |

Hakwon teachers who can teach English in ENGLISH can get 1.3 - 2.0 million or more. I have several KOREAN lady friends/past co-workers who earn more than 1.5 and one who is a "head teacher" at a kindy/elementary hakwan who gets 2.5. |

the going's tough, it seems
but 1 mil a month? not that tough...
my k-wike is a coordinator at a hagwon. she's got an economics degree from a korean university, makes 1.8 mil/month.
she just picked the first thing that came up, though. judging from what they pay the non-english-speaking coordinators at my work, there are much better positions to be had.

Bilingual TOEIC teachers can often clean up here and make well over 2 mill a month. |
