I'm no expert but that sounds cheap! And tempting......is that a store selling that?

Of course, some know-it-all will come along and say they can get all of that, in a gold case, for 25,000.

ya, its through a local store. its not a pre-built set. I recommended some parts (thanks to Giant) and they added some info about deals they could get etc..

its 1.3, but more likely 1.4 because of the tekbek (from yongsan), programs etc.

They are loading me up with software, games etc.

It's a pretty decent system... hard core gamer????

You can drop the price by 1/2 with a LITTLE reduction from the top end stuff.... but if you are a gamer... then go with the flow....

Intel 3.0 Ghz CPU,
1 gig RAM
160 gig HDD
17" LCD monitor
lower video card (lots to choose from)
DVD/CD-RW
case, 350 watt PS, mouse, keyobard,
On board LAN, sound.
700k won... 6th floor, space 9 bldg, Yongsan station.

My recommendation: drop the 3.4 to a 3.0 and increase your video card to a 6800GT if you are a gamer. Do NOT drop it. You won't be able to run anything. Your system looks great, but, not for gaming. Your video card sucks. a 6800GT or above will last you a few more years before having to upgrade it. Also, if you get the 6800GT, upgrade the power to at least 400.

That is pretty much the exact same setup as the LG xPion x600 series which are going for around 1.65 mill with a 19" monitor. Yes, that's a good price. Though, I would listen to the advice of others on here in regards to video cards and upgrade it if possible. The Nvidia Geforce 6800GT is the absolute minimum that you should go for a video card, though, if I were you I would be going for the 7800GT since the 6800GT is on the way out right now.
