Sorry to be the bearer of bad news...
Unless you find someplace that needs a FRENCH teacher... there is no way for you (as a French citizen) to LEGALLY be a teacher in Korea.
If you wanted to be an English teacher you must (by immigration rules) be a citizen of: USA, UK, Australia, NewZealand, Canada or South Africa. If you do not hold one of those passports you CANNOT get an E2 visa to teach English or teach other subjects in English.
You can be a French teacher or an immersion teacher in the French language if you can find an employer. |

Any idea where I could look for this? I'm from Texas, but my girlfriend is French. She's coming here this summer to visit and it would be wicked if she could find a bit of work to stay here. Legal, illegal? Whatever[/quote] |

Check out if any foreign language high schools have a French program. My school teaches Spanish, Japanese and Chinese.
The likelihood of her getting work without signing a contract for at least a year is slim though. |

| I'm not sure about how to contact the international schools in seoul (there are many) but I know there is a foreign school in Busan (I work for one in Jeonju that is owned by the same people). That website is busanforeignschool.org. Try a web search for Seoul International School and Indian Head School in Seoul. good luck. |

| Try the Alliance Francaise in Seoul. They have a French language school. One of my elementary school English students studies there. She's qaudrilingual (is that a word?) she speaks four languages. |
