Hi
I have been offered a position that sounds great!
Public school job with 5 weeks holidays working 22 teaching hrs 9 - 2 Monday - Friday.
It is by far the best position I have been offered to press, however, in the contract the following clause puzzled me a little and I wondered if anyone could shine a light and offer any advice!!!
1 The contract states I get 5 weeks paid holiday but then states . Regarding the vacation, B can have a vacation during the summer and winter vacations but any vacations are not allowed during the camp(Summer or Winter) or teachers training programs.
Does this sound right? |

Yes I thought that I e mailed them earlier and asked!!

| I believe that what that means is that you take your vacations when the school is closed (aka when the kiddos are on vacation). I think this is pretty much a standard for most schools... or at least those that I've been in contact with. |
