You can find multicoloured marshmellows at some candy sections...they are multicoloured and twisted.

If you know anyone who has access to the military base you can get them to pick you up some honest to goodness white marshmallows from the store.

In Busan, you can try:

the international market in Nampo-dong (gukje sijang)
the grocery market at Lotte
Carrefour

Dunno about Busan, but HomePlus in Gwangju has 'em in the candy isle. They usually have twisty & non-twisty kinds (though they are multi-colored).

HomePlus usually has pretty consistant stock nationwide, so I'd try there.

Advice for shopping for western goods outside of Seoul should always be inclusive of the word 'try'. You may find a vendor who carries the stuff at a black market kiosk or the food section of a department store, but the next week, it could be gone, because the item was not a seller to Koreans or temporary lack of availability, etc...Hell, even Red Door sometimes has availability problems and she doesn't even have great stock to begin with.

If it's important enough to you, you're going to have to roll the dice and do some legwork to check these places out.
