REGINA (CP) - When it comes to provincial names, Saskatchewan is one of the toughest to spell - keeping four syllables and twelve letters straight can be tricky.

For the man who considers himself the province's premier-in-waiting, however, you'd think spelling the moniker would be second nature. Especially when you consider Opposition leader Brad Wall's party is the Saskatchewan Party.

That's why Wall was a little red-faced Wednesday when he was forced to explain why Saskatchewan was spelled Saskatchwan in one of his party's new TV ads.

At an NDP convention, Calvert's name was spelled Clavert during a video tribute.

(Calvert is the NDP leader.)
