My boys do the same thing. I've got to get a photo of them doing it. It's a total crack up

Yeah I'm way too big to play with a bunch of pint size korean 12 year olds. Also I still have a bit of a hands off approach to my students, as I don't like to touch them. perhaps I've been in the west too long?

At the last school I taught at I had a group of middleschool girls. I would ask them what they did at school and they always said they played this game. I told them I didn't understand the game so they did it for me. It was freaking hilarious.

My students do that too. I'm thinking, don't you break your neck? It is very funny though, that is for sure.

Yeah I think I posted something about this a few months ago.

One of my students, MAYBE 90lbs soaking wet, plays it with his "friend". I say "friend" because this kid weighs 160-180lbs. (at least they are grade 6)

One of my very normal, very mature students (middle school 3) came in limping and couldn't sit in a chair. Turns out him and his best friend bashed tail-bones and his friend had been out of school for a week.

Then in Busan I saw some uni guys playing. Same thing except full-on extreme vaulting horse. Laughing their asses off that they could barely walk afterwards.

But as I am typing I realize my friends and I have done just as much stupid stuff...just not this freaky game of spinal devastation.

some of my twenty something year old male friends played this game, they were a mix of american, scottish and english so it's not entirely unheard of in the west - they were demonstrating a game they had all played at school (or so they said Shocked )

I've seen that game done on a TV show by adults. I suppose it could be funny if you remember doing it as a kid.

That game reminds me of my dad's Bill Cosby record. The game on the record is called "Buck Buck", it ends when it's Fat Albert's turn!
