The majority of the people I work with aren't and I'm beginning think that maybe the majority of expats in Korea aren't.
What do you look for when you evaluate a person's character? |

Depends on how much time I have with the person and I make mistakes, but I've recommended quite a few people for jobs and so far everybody that I've recommended has performed pretty well how I explained to the hiring folks they would. |

It takes longer to figure out a Korean person for me simply for the fact that they behave differently towards fellow Koreans vs. those of us from other countries. We are spoken to differently, usually more politely (at least in my case and hopefully yours ). Sometimes my opinion will change after seeing those same "polite" Korean person interact with fellow Koreans in quite a different manner. As far as expats go, I think I'm a pretty good judge of character. |
