There was a poster who said that he had the documents, or link for, required for visa extension.
I need to do this within the next week. Visa expires June 22, ARC June 29. I want to avoid fines and do this the right way.
The boss called Imi. of course they told him that a didn't need extension... I know better thanks to you guys. Please help with info for required application forms. Thanks. |

You may be confused...
Your VISA in your passport has NOTHING to do with your exit day.
Your EXIT day is the last day marked on your ARC. From your description that would be June 29.
When do you need to extend to? When does your contract end?
IF you need a SHORT extension (less than 2 weeks) simply take your AIRTICKET and ARC and PASSPORT down to the immigration office and they will extend your stay until the date of your AIRTICKET out of Korea. The application form is on the counter at the immi office.
Sidenote here: NO AIRTICKET = NO EXTENSION.
If you need a LONGER extension for contractual reasons, simply take your contract (that shows the termination date) or CONTRACT EXTENSION along with a copy of your schools registration down to immi and get an extension until the final date of the NEW CONTRACT. This can be up to 1 year. |

This is true, but if you get only an extension of your stay like described above, you cannot work during this time. It's only a time for packing up, touring the country, whatever. NO WORKING unless they extend your E-2.
