Thought I'd offer a bit of a public service here. GNB Incheon is hiring. A few years ago I worked for a GNB branch in Incheon for seven months, and the experience left me bitter for months after. My particular hogwan was the worst of all hogwans rolled into one. This may be a different branch, but be absolutely sure that it isn't run by a Mr. Kim and his evil wife Mrs. Bae (I think). They have two sons. Total brats. Be 100% certain that you do not sign a contract with these two people. It will ruin your Korean experience.
If it is not owned by these two individuals please disregard this message.
My only other advise pertains to GnB generally. The textbooks are the worst in the industry, and you must slavishly adhere to them. Look at them before you sign any contract, and ask yourself if you can teach such material every day for a full year. If you can, wonderful. But be certain to examine the texts before committing yourself.
Cheers

Is it the GnB in ChongHakdong, Incheon?
If so steer clear.
Probably the most unprofessional outfit I have witnessed in Korea...and that is saying a lot! |

I think 80% of all hagwons are run by Mr. Kim. Damn, that lowers peoples chances of getting a good job. |
