I've heard mixed results about a place in Seoul run by former Pittsburgh Penguin Jim Park. Some have raved....some have cursed. Take your chances. |

His name is actually "Jim Paek". There are a chain of hockey shops run in his name around Seoul. There is skate sharpening available at the shops in Mokdong (Near Omokyo Stn.) and in Bundang (near Yatap Stn.)
Look here for more info: www.jimpaek.com
Spomax (in Kangnam) also does sharpening but it is mostly done on a machine instead of by hand. THe quality is hit and miss. There is a guy in the Mokdong ice rink that does sharpening but he does a mediocre job. Jim Paek's in Mokdong is the best I've found. |

Hey MASH I got mine done last time I went skating with the winter intensive group at Korea University rink. They only know how to sharpen the blades flat, they didn't do a good job keeping the rocker I have on mine but not too bad. |
