i was just wondering if anyone knew anything about release papers, im am currently living and working in south korea, i have been here for about 6 months, my job however has taken a turn for the worst i will be finishing here in 30 days, my boss has agreed to give me realease papers, because i would like to find another job here, but im not exactly sure what they are or what i do with them, also when looking for another job, ive got some leads already, what do i say to the director, i dont want to bad mouth my school, but at the same time, i dont want her to contact them because they will most likely make me look bad...what should i do? if anyone could help i would appreciate it |

I had the same thing happen to me after 7 months. After my school gave me a one month notice, I started looking for another job right away. It's not hard finding a job, but you have to make sure you explain that your current job is letting you go because of financial reasons. Also it's good to tell them to call your current boss so they can verify it. The annoying thing is you have to go to immigration with your boss to get the letter of release and you can't process a new visa until you get that letter. |
