| The owner of a private english school that waited a very long time(3 months) for me to obtain the necessary documents to send to him has now had my documents which he handed in to immigration about a week and a half ago. He has been waiting on the immigration authorities to physically visit his school (which I understand from others has a good reputation)-in this waiting he is beginning to panic about how long this process might take and has asked me to come to Korea on a visitors visa and start work for a few days and then do a visa run to Japan. This coming from someone who also offered to send me his credentials so I could check on his background mind you. He s hired a Korean speaker of english in May to fill in for me until I arrive but is worried about parents' reaction if I am not there soon as he promised them I would be. I do not know what to think. I have not been to Korea yet, this is my first teaching experience beyond practicum, however, I am a very seasoned traveler. Does this sound okay to proceed. I really appreciate any and all responses. Thanks so much! |

Until you have your E2 visa in your passport you are not legally allowed to work in Korea.
If you get caught you are the one fined, jailed, deported and ending up with a black mark on your record.
Dont get screwed over because he's in a hurry. |
