SAN JOSE, Calif. - The former college student known as the "Naked Guy," who gained notoriety in the early 1990s for attending class in the buff, has died in jail, authorities said.

I waited behind him in line at a photo developing shop off Telegraph once. Stark naked except for a pair of flip-flops. |

I sat next to him in a Russian history class. This was pre-naked days. The Naked Guy evolved over a period of about 2 years. First was shorts/no shirt. Next was tighty-whities only. Then, buck naked. Finally, a red hankerchief-loin cloth thing.
(Actually, the last was back naked and kicked out of school, I believe)
