Is is really necessary that discovery plays the same commercials at every commercial break? I swear I have seen some of those commercials 100 times!

Worse still they play the same commercials as CNN International. So you get a double helpin'. |

I can't get over how heavily rotated perogrammes are.
American Chopper,Beyond tomorrow every 3 or 4 hours.......
Such bad programming wants me want to develop a life...no,thats too drastic. |

Discovery Channel has dumbed down a lot in recent years. It's going for the broad appeal now.
Hence, Pimp My Ride, American Chopper, Making Model Lions and Bears To See Who Would Win A Fight, Big Choppers, Pimp My FBI Investigation, Bigger Pimped Choppers......
There's hardly ever a good Science, nature or history doc anymore. |

Reminds me of The Learning Channel, which used to be great but then turned into a 24-hour vehicle for Trading Spaces.

| The chinese themed docos are good ,though I didn't note when they were made.A new series of battlefield detectives would be great. |

I know the Tuttles are fun to watch but are these programs really the function of Discovery Channel?
Seems to more of a Fox TV style. |

seriously! every time i tune in these days it's some stupid "mega moves" or some dumb show. just gimme a basic animal or history documentary! i'd rather watch lions in africa over and over than some farmer in saskatchewan moving his silo! |
