If you had to vote in the American presidential election for one of the following, which one would you vote for? These are your only choices. You cannot write in someone. If you are not American, please feel free to choose one.
1. Hillary Clinton
2. Al Gore |

Not that either of them is electable, but I went with Hilary on the grounds that she has bigger ... chances of being effective. |

Hillary is like the devil in an ugly business skirt thing. I would never vote for her for anything. Al Gore, as dull and inept as he comes across, would definately be the lesser of two evils. Truth be told, however, I can't say that anyone that is rumored to be in the running inspires me with much confidence.
I'd really like to see some one come out of left-field and catch everyone off guard and take it home. I just automatically assume that whoever is put forward by either party is nothing more than a talking head and will push whatever special interest agenda they're told to.
Americans have become so jaded, it's really said. Not to turn this into a war thread but I do find it odd that we push for democracy in other places, but the citizenry of the US barely cares about it at home. We expect to get screwed from the get-go.

Hillary but only because I think Gore would make a terrible president. Hillary wouldn't be so bad IMO. Whether you like her or not she does have a presence of authority and could be a potential strong leader.
I had dinner with a secret service agent, and he said that Al and Tipper Gore were snobbish assholes. Gore just has this look about him I don't trust. He isn't a influential speaker and I think he would be more of a yes man than anything else.
However I would think it would be ridiculous to have two families represent our past four presidents. I agree with AbbeFaria, for a country as big and diverse as The USA it is a shame we are only limited (realistically) to two picks. |

This is truly a pointless poll. You can be certain that if the American people woke up to find those two individuals listed as the only choices on the ballot with write in voting rights cancelled, there would be an armed, violent overthrow of the government. |
