The process for doing this may vary from game to game. A small NFO file is usually included with the download that explains how to get the game running. It will look like a MSInfo document or a Text file and should be opened with Notepad.

The process is usually something like the following.

1) Burn the ISO to a DVD or mount it on a virtual drive.
2) Install the game
3) Apply necessary cracks or patches.
4) Play

Most of your questions should be answered here...

look for a torrent that has you game name and "no CD" patch/hack or crack.

Beware there are lots of dummies- have your A/V up to date and be prepared to download a few before you hit on the right one (actually I've found I usually get a good one the first time, but I thought I'd better put this disclaimer on just in case).

Isn't there an NFO included? If there is, post it here... then we'll be able to help... If not it'll be a bit of guess work - you should post a screen shot of your downloaded files...

Edit: If there isn't an NFO, find out where the torrent was originally posted i.e. which tracker. You might find install notes there...

It's always the same, as wormholes said...

If you are stuck on #3, then go to the link eamo provided and look for your particular game. It will have a list of things made for that game...you need a "no cd" or "no dvd" patch. Download it, unzip it, copy it into the directory with the game .exe (maybe C:/Program Files/Fun/fun.exe) file in it, and overwrite the original .exe made from the install.

Save the original .exe file though....you will need this for any future official patches released for the game. If an update gets released, copy the original back into the directory, update the game, find the new no-cd .exe file and overwrite it once again. gamecopyworld has most every game and if there is an update, say "Fun 1.01 patch", gamecopyworld usually has a no-cd within hours of the update.

Oh....it's bad to download games. Wink
