I'm moving to a bigger place this weekend and need to find a moving company in seoul, just headed across the gu.

somebody told me at samgakji station across from the yongsan used furniture store there were some companies. anybody had any experience with them.

Not moving a lot, a one room apt

get someone who speaks korean to hook you up with a bongo truck ajosshi.
should cost about 30,000 won for an hour or so, might be slightly more if you want him to help you with lifting.

I'm also moving tomorrow. It's not too difficult to set up getting a truck. I did it a few months ago when I moved from Cheongdam to Mapo-gu and it cost 70,000 won. The reason being is he helped me quite a bit and the whole thing took about 3 hours.

Like someone else said, the trick is to find a Korean to call the company and set it up for you. Make sure to have them give the moving company both your old and new address.

and if u are really lazy.. just go into any random pu-dong-san (hundreds around anyways).. they'll all have bongo truck numbers.. they'll hook u up in a heartbeat.

thanks there are 4 pu-dong-sans on my street, i'll go into one on my way home from class

hnmmm....the wife and I are moving this summer. Do they provide you with boxes to pack your crap in? I heard some moving companies here do EVERYTHING for you. Is this true?

"pu-dong-san" (부동산) means real estate office
