Hey all

I'm sure you've all been there.
You can have a great day of teaching and then have 1 class that leaves you hating the thought of going back the following day.

In my case, this class has been one of my favorites all year. Not sure why, mostly middle school boys who think they are God's gift and usually require me to strain my voice more in 15 minutes than I do in 4 hours of teaching little preschoolers.
Today they were just BAD. A total pain in the a$%. I love them, but I strongly dislike them at the moment. Coming in intentionally late because they were playing outside the school, running around like monkeys in the classroom and just really getting on my last nerve.
I guess I was due for a day like this. My classes are almost always very good. My director went in a yelled at them and was still yelling when I left. I don't want him to expell any of them because they're my favorite students.

8 weeks left to go and counting them down...
I swear, you teachers who stick around teaching kids for more than one year never cease to amaze me. They really should have an award for you all!

Today I have three classes of grade 2 middle schoolers and then my best grade 3 high school class. No matter what the grade 2s do I always go home with a good feeling. (my first and most difficult class of grade 2s were all right today so hopefully I'll go home feeling very well indeed).

I know what you're saying, though.
