My husband is here on a tourist visa. We want to change to an F-3 dependant spouse visa (I am on an E-2). Can I do that from within Korea at the immigration office, or do we need to make a visa run?
Any first hand knowlege would be greatly appreciated. As such, I cannot find anyone who did this after they had arrived in Korea. |

Go to the immigration office and apply for a change in status of sojourn.
You will need your ARC, passport, confirmation of employment from your boss, and a copy of your wedding certificate (to prove that you are married).
He will need his passport, application form and 60,000 won .
If you do not have your ARC yet or a copy of your wedding certificate you cannot change his status to F3. |

I appreciate the reply. I'll give it a try. Why can't people just do that for an E-2? |
