maybe its just the humidity but i feel like venting.. my pet hates are..

1) Mothers of preschool kids. Real pain.

2) paperwork. Officialdom, beaurocracy. Anything to do with official paperwork i hate. pieces of paper that you have to get in order to do something. And to get hold of this piece of paper you have to qeue for hours in the sun and complete various inane and never ending tasks that in reality are meaningless.

I had my fair share of run-ins with the former my first year here, but fortunately I worked with an owner who didn't take any flack from them and would send the kids packing if the mothers made too much of a stink.

Some people in Korea would consider this commercial suicide, i.e. p-off the mother hen, who then spreads the bad word to her friends, etc. This had the opposite effect. The mothers responded to his machismo better than him bending over to fulfill their every whim.

I'm assuming this is a rare case, though...
