I am new to Korea and have made my home in teaching in Ilsan. I am looking to meet up with some people to start some sort of music project. I want to do something sorta off the wall and just for the fun of it. Maybe some turntables, drums, guitar with some hip-hop flavour. Just a good jam would be cool.

I usually play super mellow singer-songwriter stuff (www.talz.ca) but want to just experiment. Maybe something like Sigur Ros, Silver Mt. Zion with a little more funk (James Brown) and up-beatness.

Or, I fancy mysely an amateur MC and would love to find a beat-maker/drum player/bass-line maker. I am def not a technical musican and more looking to just screw around.

I am down for fun and not taking it seriously. Who is down? Places to jam could be out in Ilsan (I know it's far) or something else. Anyone looking or have something on the go?

I'd love to help spit some lyrics or just chill out....

P.S. What are good music stores? I would love to buy a super cheap/beat up set of drums (pawn shop, used) for my officetel.
