Only in Korea do the blind go up against the riot cops...

In protest of the decision, a 40-year-old masseur attempted to set himself ablaze during a street rally in central Seoul on Monday, while four masseurs jumped off Mapo Bridge into the Han River on Tuesday.

Several dozen blind people also jumped onto a subway track at Myongdong Station, blocking train operations for about 40 minutes.

A trip to a masseur in Korea is normally in two stages: first the massage by the blind woman, then a walk across the hall to the hostesses/prostitutes for the "after/main' service.
Wasn't there a big prostitute demo last year, with their newly formed wh*re union demanding workers rights? Talk about the naked leading the blind.

I have had "sports massages" a few times in Korea, in profession environments (one time at a chiropractor's office, another at a "sports masage" place. I never had a blind masseur. I had forgotten about the blind masseur thing. What kind of massage do they give? (seriously, I'm not trying to be kinky here! Embarassed )

By the way, a Korean "sports massage" is exponentially deeper and more painful (in a good way of course Confused ) than any other I have had, including rolfing.

I heard about that riot of the blind. Reporters interviewed many of the participants afterward but found out none of them had actually witnessed the event. The police were likewise stymied in their investigation. Out of desperation they asked members attending the nearby Korean Amputee Activist gathering, only to find out they were all stumped.

Now thats the best thread title I've seen in a while.
Perhaps you could title your memoirs of Korea that.
