Younger Divorced Couples 'Can Stay Friends'
Korea's younger divorcees see nothing wrong with remaining friends after they part company, a straw poll suggests.... "In the past, people sought divorce mainly because of their spouses' defects, but today most people get divorced simply because they arent compatible," Only-You president Son Dong-gyu said. "That may be the reason they are able to maintain a good relationship after divorce."

My parents are divorced and have remained friends. Even when my mother remarried, her and her husband were always welcomed at my father's for christmas/easter. My father's mother, in fact, seemed to really love my mother's new husband. They both grew up in Saskatchewan. When my father remarried, my mother went to his wedding. Hell, my dad paid child support until we were all about 25.
It is possible although it's more often than not a huge exception. |
