It seems to have just as much info as in the book. Although I haven't studied it very hard ... |

firefox? i have to download it? what is this exactly?
i'd be interested in the LP aspect of this.. why/how is it connected to firefox? |

Actually, it is just a toolbar that searches the Lonely Planet website for you....same information that you get if you visit the Lonely Planet website directly.
It is in the top right hand corner of Firefox, there are some that are already installed by default (Amazon, ebay) and a load that you can add yourself. It is not really a download, but just a java extention that takes one click to add. |

okay I downloaded firefox.. its just a browser. also downloaded this lonely planet extension.
i just don't get it though.. on a brower like firefox.. how do i get to this lonely planet stuff?
EDIT: Just read plattwaz post.. ah... same thing thats on the web anyways. |

Yes, same thing that's on the web. It's not their exclusively for the firefox browser or anything.
I was just updating my firefox browser after a system install, and I came across a lonely planet search engine function. Thought I'd mention it .... |
