I would live in a small town only if it was easily accessible to a big city.

I am working in a rural town now, the first time I have done so in over six years (and three different countries). I always thought I would hate the country but now I am starting to enjoy it. Of course there are things I miss about living in the city but overall I am happy with my choice.

Just curious about others....would you only live in a big city, only in a small town or flexible...let me know. Smile

I wouldn't want to live in a small town that is not near a big city. I like the 'burbs of Seoul, as long as they are still on the subway line, and not to far from decent areas. I like going to Seoul whenever I feel like it, but living there wasn't all it was cracked up to be. At the same time though, I don't go out every weekend and get drunk, so that isn't an issue for me.

I lived in the country and it would have been great if I had a car. Unfortunately I didn't. The closest bus stop to my school to catch a bus into the actual town was a half an hour walk away and even at that bus stop the buses were few and far between.

I survived the year though, but now I know better than to live in the middle of nowhere. As of next week I'll be back in the suburbs. I'm quite excited.
