The GF had to spend Saturday celebrating her sister's birthday so I decided it was a chance to go see one of my infernal "killing" movies. I picked Ghost Rider. Ugg. What a mindless boring as fork movie. It was so damn dull I kind of felt like walking out. Nicholas Cage brings nothing to the role. The whole flick seemed like it was made by a guy with a fetish for goth chix.

Agreed. Watched it last night.

I knew little/nothing about the character, other than what I'd seen him do in the Marvel: Ultimate Alliance game on the 360. I should have left it at that.

Believe it or not, there's already a sequel in the works for this turd.

I'm glad I only paid 2,000 for a copy of it on the street. Utter crap. And they didn't even reuse the Rollin's Band song "Ghost Rider" from The Crow soundtrack.

Don't pay money to see this film.

I liked it more than Fantastic Four. I downloaded it, so I got my money's worth.

So what you are saying is your gf didn't invite you to her sisters b-day party. Hmmm... I wonder why...

Yes. If you actually understood Korean culture, it's rare for a woman to introduce her BF to her family until they're pretty much ready to get married.

You try too hard, dear.

Maybe it's because it's only been a short time with this one. The pics seem to change rather often. Laughing

Hey, do you get their OK to post their pics online, or do you just sort of do it?

And yeah, Ghostrider was a major disappointment.

I'm guessing her family members aren't keen on English nor cruise this site.

I always wonder about that... I wouldn't want a Korean girl posting my pictures on the internet... that'd just be ... odd... In fact, I always found it a little odd when guys use pictures of girls as their avatar...

Definitely. Marvel is making too much too soon. The fantastic four movie was no better. Can't believe they're making a sequel. So far the best super-hero movies have to be the first two Batman movies and the last Batman movie, along with Spiderman (just the first one) and X-men (i'd say they're all pretty good, but the last one got just a little monotonous). I'd even say the latest Superman was rather well done.

Well, it is mostly her A-cup and not her face though...

I haven't read a comic since I was 10. I'm not a fan. But I have enjoyed some of the movies based on comics. Xmen was pretty good. Hulk was putrid. All the Batmans I saw were terrible. Spiderman was okay. I liked all the goofy Superman movies but I was younger.

The last Superman was ... well it was nice to see it back on the big screen but Superman really didn't do a lot. He fought a big rock. Hrmph.

Have you tried to join a thread on Dave's where you don't end up embarrassing yourself or reveal your ignorance?
