.. to make a music video for an original song.
i'd like to make a video for the song "Oh, Canadia" which can be heard at www.myspace.com/crazymagicboots . (produced by Lance Reegan Diehl who also plays all the music... by the way, he's from BC.)
man, i know some people don't like this song. i invite you to vent your anger; i welcome it. i want to hear your opinions.
BUT, a lot of people do like this song and i think it would make a good video. it is a popular song when performed live.
i'd like to work with a canadian because the video would need that inside perspective that only a native can bring (i'm from michigan, myself). i suppose i want some politcal shielding, also.
for ideas, refer to the soju mama video ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UzHrV6M3vM0 ) but i'm wide open for suggestions about theme/content/scenes.
or maybe you want to make a video for a different song? i gots dozens of others. |

I love to make fun of my fellow Canadians, but this song is pretty weak. Nothing new, nothing exceptionally humorous, too cliched. Kinda sounds like something SNL would have done in the 80's, especially the reference to Adams, Dion, and Rush.
Wow. The song just finished playing. That's it? Do people actually get upset over that? |
