I live in Seattle. There's a Korean festival in the area this coming weekend, and I'll probably go for the food stalls alone (I was in Korea last year and miss it).

The festival is practically free ($2), but there is a "Pops Concert" one evening. I thought it was also included in the ticket price, but just found out it's $35. That's a bit steep.

The two acts, though, are Crying Nut and Johan Kim. I've always wanted to go to a Crying Nut show, but who is Johan Kim? Just another pretty boy R&B act? It would be sad to pay that much and only have one of the acts be any good.

No offense to Crying Nut...but $35....guess I spoiled myself in the days at Drug / Skunk Hell....are they trying to make up for lost wages while in the military...bejebus...

No idea who the other is....but I hope there are more than 2 acts for the $35...especially if it resembles the live jive they show on Km/M net...

They certainly are doing a lot of travelling these days. Recently they put on a show in England too. Travel expenses must be pretty high.

Crying Nut is a big-ticket band, but they play poorly-advertised shows which I assume are cheap (if you consider 15 000 a bargain) at Drug about once a month.

Nope, that's Skunk Hell. It has been for over two years. Crying Nut hasn't played there ever since it was taken over by the punks.

Drug is harder to find. I posted a map in another thread recently. Also note that this map is old, and Drug is listed as DGBD and Skunk is listed as Drug.
