In the last week I have tons of nice phones advertised for 50 - 70k. At those prices I would replace my current one if not for the hassle that would involve. Anyway, if you're in the market it looks like a good time to buy.

Yea, that is very cheap. The only way to get those prices is to change your service, which will cost 25 - 50k won. But, still cheap.

50k to 70k is not cheap. Check on the net (gmarket, gsestore,auction.co.kr). You can have phones for less than that, no connection fee, as long as you switch provider. It's not exactly legal for them to do that, but everyone does it.

50 -70k is cheap. I think Hater is talking about nice, new phones, not older pieces of junk. 50-70k becomes 100-120k when also adding the new service provider fee, but that's still cheap as hell for a nice, new 최신형 phone.

6 month-old Samsung models, new in the box, aren't junk. Heck, they probably haven't been released in North America, yet.

OK, but you're saying that 50-70k for a new phone is not cheap? That's crazy talk.

So, now you want to argue about semantics? 50k is cheap, but 30k is cheaper. There, you win. Happy?

The government is apparently subsidizing cell phone prices for some reason. It's not just in your area. It's possible to get great new phones for very little.

50-70k is not that cheap. Those online places have brand new phones for 10k and less. I got my phone for 10k and it was 200,000k in the stores. They even had those Motorola Razor phones for like 30k.

Just saw some phones today marked down from W200,000 to W8,300. If you really think the incovenience of registering with a website and then having to hook up with the seller is worth saving another 1,000 then more power to you.
