So the avatar rules say the picture must be 80 pixels x 80 pixels. Is this right? All my pictures are in the thousands (not sure of exact numbers) in terms of pixels.
But I changed it to 80 by 80 anyway, and put it up here
It didn't change the physical dimensions of it and only made it really blurry. And when I tried loading it up anyway, all I got was "The URL of the remote avatar is not valid"
I'm sure the Oldies (as opposed to Newbies) have seen and answered this question a dozen times before. But some help would be appreciated anyway for this particular electronically-challenged teacher. |

Google is your friend.
Download one of those free programs, resize your photo to 80x80, save it, store it somewhere on the web, enter that url into your profile avatar space, and viola. |
