Yep.
Mrs. Kim was the local in charge of lying to foreign staff in Fall, 2002. Bait and Switch was their business motto.
The housing was next door to a dog meat joint. The 20,000 or so dog meat restaurants in this nation are illegal, no, and are probably yet another "structural problem" caused by the foreign English teachers who majored in a field other than Education -you know, the ones who came to Korea to merely make themselves seem cooler or something when they go back home. |

hi roch -
hmm. i didn't realize that there are only two brands of teachers in korea - those with an education background and those who want to "look cool."
so, by your standards, a writer with a backgrond in adolescent psychology and a strong desire for immersion in a new cullture would, by your standards, be considered unqualified??
obviously, schooling as an educator doesn't always instill one of the most important core values that EVERY teacher should hold... do not judge people before they've had an opportunity to prove themselves... things are rarely THAT black and white. |

I support your position, Bro'/Sis.
You want to catch a buzz due to imbibing several Pilsner Urquells and something else? Please advise.
Sincerely,

I apologise for insisting that your educational background is not a strong one.
We could debate this assertion via Private Messenger should you feel upset about my observation of your, um, educational history.
Have a good one, Friend.

Oh, yes, this is it: I was being facetious about the remarks made by the Korean Teachers Union. They are the ones, my feathered friend, who claimed that there are, in essence, two types of English-ee instruct-tuhs in Korea.
I'm sure you see my point now.
Carry on.

| Could someone please reply to my OP in a somewhat constructive manner. I plan to talk to this school sometime this week and would like a bit of information on what to expect? |
