The area around the school is quite nice and there are lots of other foreigners in Jangan-town (Bundang-dong) as there's another big chain hagwon just around the corner from GDA.
I hear the Bundang GDA even has a pool, albeit a wading pool, inside the school.
The people I knew that used to work there didn't really ever complain about anything, so I think it's pretty ok. |

I spoke with the supervisor down there. He sounded really professional and I quite liked him.
The hours seemed long to me though and the salary wasn't that high.
They have cameras in the classroom also.
Not exactly marketable to the average teacher.
But just because of the gyopo supervisor there, it could be ok to work at.
I think they have about 8 teachers there who are a mix of ages and qualifications.
The supervisor told me that all teachers were free to speak with any current teacher. So you should take that option.
Good Luck! |

They used to have the same supervisor at both campuses when I worked there. He was pretty crazy, very intense guy. |

And I'm sure it's nice and warm as well. |

Hi all,
I was surprised to read that GDA requires employees to do one week of training at half the pay. Hmmm!
Any more comments from people with experience working at GDA would be appreciated. What is their housing like?
Thanks ahead of time,

When I worked at BD Kids College I know that the GDA teachers were scattered in different villas up the hill from the school. It'll only take you about three minutes to get there. That's all I know. |
