There's nothing debatable here. (I hope.)
Many of you are masters of critical thinking and writing, and it's often fun to read.
But lately I'm getting confused. I found Dave's in early 1997 when the only PC room in town
was more like a coffee shop and cost 5000 won/hour. 6 months later, internet use was free, but you had to buy a 5000 won cup of coffee or bottle of beer.
Am I "Old School?" I've seen that term lately. Where do I fit in, if at all?
I know lots of your names. I was something before mole, but Buddha's honest truth, I don't remember.
Bulsajo stands out (sorry, bud) maybe because Bultaco was a competing dirt bike back when I raced at age 13-14. And, of course, your awesome avatars over the years.
Apparently some of us have been banned and reappeared? I've written some psycho stuff
on Dave's, and even worried once that I had been banned. I still have the email from Dave himself assuring me I wasn't.
Anyone remember Postco's Trumpet? Or who was the girl whose dog we all vowed to eat? She disappeared quick-like. Jeez we were mean.
Anyone whining now is clueless. Back in the OLD days, we were harsh.
Now we're just wimpy.

I have never changed my user name, and I've posted on here, sometimes regularly, sometimes not, (if I remember correctly) since about November 1997.
And last time I talked to her (fall 2004) (okay, I should be keeping in touch, I'm lame, busy is just an excuse when out of touch with such an awesome woman) Rike was doing good.
The first person I met in person off this board was the Fat Traveler. |
